Our Story
In 2004, Bishop Dr. Tyrone D. Hunter and Elder Dr. Juanita Hunter founded the Living Epistle Bible College as a haven for spiritual education and an institution for leadership development. The school operated for a decade, during which time nearly 300 students graduated from institutional programs ranging from certificates to Doctoral degrees. Eventually, the spirit guided Bishop and Elder Hunter into their next journey… but the mission remained.
Our Mission
The Living Epistle Bible College was founded with the mission and on the principle that those called by God are to be living letters of God’s love to the world. We are the salt of the Earth and are a City on a hill that cannot be hidden. Graduates from this institution have gone on to Pastor, to serve the community, to expand businesses, and simply be about the Father’s business. Now, God has given another chance for his people to sow into the community through higher education based on sound doctrine, straight from the Word of God.
Our Vision
In March of 2021 Elder Dr. Gwendolyn Bacote adopted the name Living Epistle Bible College adding 2.0 to emphasize the institution moving into its second phase which includes technology and the future of accreditation. Dr. Bacote is a graduate of the original Living Epistle Bible College and at present each of the instructors were graduates or a student of the school.
Our Community
We are working to make our mark in the community as an example to our students desiring to be leaders in the community and in their local ministries. Our institution is looking to partner with local churches and businesses to offer a technology suite and other services that help elevate people to a higher standard of living and education. Through computer literacy classes and holistic education classes, we are hoping to not only show our students revelation in scripture but to live out that same revelation as an institution. For that vision to come to pass, we need your help.Since the conception of the new phase the school has been a small school serving a God of big means.
